Central Purchase started with a simple idea from South Philly: the useful stuff you'd find at a good corner market, picked carefully and shipped anywhere.

Philadelphia is a city of corner stores. The good ones know their block: who needs batteries before a storm, which neighbor has a new puppy, what sells out the week the heat breaks.
We wanted that feeling online. So we built Central Purchase as eight small stalls instead of one endless warehouse. Each stall holds a short list of things that earn their spot, from fire blankets and space heaters to sleep tape and gift cards.
Orders are packed by our small team at 1831 Christian St, Philadelphia, PA 19146, USA and leave for the post office every weekday afternoon.
